 I’ve been in construction my entire life. I grew up welding and got involved in building and infrastructure with family at an early age. From there, I spent two and a half decades working in municipal public service, managing projects, reviewing plans, running trades, and learning at every level why buildings are built the way they are, and what happens when they’re not.

I know what it feels like to buy a home without knowing what to look for. When I bought my first house, I had the trade knowledge but not the inspection eye. Things I would have caught in a heartbeat today, I missed–things I would have negotiated, questions I never thought to ask. I didn’t know what I didn’t know.

That experience stays with me every single time I walk through a door with a client.

When I became a home inspector, I brought everything with me: the construction background, the code knowledge, the trades experience, and the belief that clients deserve to know exactly what they’re buying before they sign anything.
