I bought my house over 3 years ago and have been slowly working through renovations. New roof and all impact windows. I finally had my last old window replaced and was just sitting on getting a new wind mitigation. Until my renewal with Citizen's came in and they were raising my rates from $2,900 a year to $5,000 a year. I knew it was time. I called Steve and he came out within a few days, had my report done the same day. Submitted and instantly got a $300 credit from my current policy that was ending that month. Submitted for the new renewal policy and the policy dropped from $5,000 to $1,900. Spending the $125 with Steve ended up saving me a whopping $3400 total this year! Moral of the story: if you've done renovations and need a new wind mitigation, don't put it off and call Steve. It'll be worth it. He's a nice guy to boot.
